Travel Tuesdays – Brooklyn Nomads

ohhhhhhhhhhhhhh pretty!

ohhhhhhhhhhhhhh pretty!

Wouldn’t it be awesome to quit your job and travel the world???  In my mind I do it every two weeks.  In reality, I’m still at work.  This couple is living my dream.  They traveled/still traveling the world for a year!  My wonderful bestie in New Orleans put me on to this site and I was in awe!  They are literally acting out my fantasy life for the most part, my fantasy life also includes round the clock nannies (if needed) for this trip as well as spa treatments in every single stop:)  James and Evie are my mental twins.

They are documenting their travels on their website www.brooklynnomads.com.  You can poke around and see where they’ve been, where they are going, and what they saw!

Travel Tuesdays – Time to go camping!

Jellystone Campgrounds

Jellystone Campgrounds

Every year we do a family camping trip in August for my birthday.  I am aware that some folks camp all year round but that just seems like something I will never do.  There is nothing about camping in the snow that seems like it might be fun lol.  I just don’t see the point of voluntarily freezing.

For the last 3 years we have been going to see Yogi bear at Jellystone campground since our son was on the younger end their activities seem to be more his speed.  I think we may switch it up this year and go for someplace that has more activities.  During my search I found that Midwest Living magazine did a compile of the 24 best camping sites in the Midwest!  Click below to look through them.
